Last week I was invited to an open house to check out the new venue, The Trading Post. Â It’s not exactly new, it’s a charming historic log building that was built in the 1920’s, but it’s just recently been open to hosting events. Â The party was hosted by Mary & Craig from Aspen Specialty Foods and the food, as expected, was fabulous!
I’m so glad I got a chance to check out this new spot as it’s incredibly unique and a bit hidden in the foothills. It’s located in Indian Hills on Parmalee Gulch Road off Highway 285. Â The space is small but as a bride who is having a wedding with only 50 people, I know how hard it can be to find a space that feels cozy and fitting for a small group. Â If you’re planning a small, intimate wedding reception in the foothills you should check out The Trading Post. Â It’s also a great spot for rehearsal dinners! I forgot to take my camera but I’ll be sure to remember it next time I visit a Colorado wedding venue.
Happy wedding planning! -Michele
